Indians Drop Senators, 4-3
|
The Cleveland Indians did just enough to secure a victory over the Washington Senators, 4-3, at Somers Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Cack Henley. The win elevated the Indians to 70-46.
Joe Birmingham delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth to win it for the Indians. For the game, Birmingham drove in one run.
Henley said his team "played with focus."
