Indians Bang Out 9-1 Win Versus Detroit
The Cleveland Indians got a stellar effort from pitcher Doc Crandall, helping Cleveland score a win over the visiting Detroit Tigers, 9-1. The victory makes Cleveland 6-4.

In the bottom of the second, Crandall had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run double off Howie Camnitz that staked the Indians to a 2-0 lead.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Cleveland manager George Davis.
